As a Senior SEO Consultant at Cardinal Path, you will be on the front lines, crafting and executing cutting-edge SEO strategies for a world-class, multi-industry clientele. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that demands advanced, full-spectrum SEO expertise, deep comfort with the

rapidly evolving search and AI-driven landscape, and a strong technical mindset.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategy & Execution: Spearhead the development and execution of holistic SEO strategies, coordinating team tasks for technical audits, performance monitoring, and rapid opportunity identification.
  • Client & Project Management: Manage a roster of high-value clients, utilizing agile best practices to ensure project efficiency, clear communication, and goal alignment.
  • Modern Search Intelligence: Conduct advanced semantic keyword research, utilizing topic cluster modeling and deep analysis of user and search intent to maximize E-E-A-T (Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
  • Technical SEO Mastery: Drive implementation of complex technical SEO recommendations (e.g., site architecture, core web vitals, structured data/schema, indexation management), coordinating directly with development teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of all major search algorithm updates, generative AI implications, and industry trends. Help build an innovative SEO practice by refining internal processes, evaluating next-gen tools, and sharing thought leadership across the firm and industry.
  • Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate seamlessly with teams in Digital Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Account / Project Management to identify and capitalize on integrated growth opportunities for clients.


Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization, preferably within a fast-paced agency or consultancy environment.
  • Expert Technical SEO Knowledge: Proven mastery of SEO methodologies and implementation, including Core Web Vitals, advanced JavaScript SEO, large-scale site migrations, and sophisticated use of structured data.
  • Data Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with platforms like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC), and enterprise-level SEO suites (e.g., Screaming Frog, Semrush, Botify, DeepCrawl, Brightedge).
  • Communication & Project Management: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive-level clients.
  • Holistic Digital Understanding: Solid understanding of the integrated digital ecosystem, including the interplay between SEO, Paid Media, Content Strategy, and Product Development.
  • Bonus Skills: Foundational coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a significant advantage. Experience with international search optimization, E-commerce SEO, and local search is highly desirable.

The annual salary range for this position is $75K-$90K. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
