Job Description
A company specializing in design and manufacturing of Metal Buildings is seeking a Remote Drafter. They are continuing to grow and are looking to add to their team. They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate is capable of creating detailed fabrication drawings for metal building components from architectural and structural design plans. Experience using 2D and 3D designing software is highly preferred. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of detailing design standards and experience with metal building manufacturing and design.

Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of detailing design standards and experience with metal building manufacturing and design.
Job Responsibilities
- Software experience with AutoCAD and MBS (Metal Building Software) required.
- Prepare erection drawings including accurate part identification, quantities, and complete sections and details for proper installation of materials.
- Prepare easy to comprehend fabrication documents.
- Keep accurate records of project hours, time worked, and coordination with group lead of schedule status and potential delays.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on one or more drafting processes and product applications.
- High School Diploma, or GED, required.
- Post high school course work in trigonometry.
- Advanced math with knowledge of basic drafting functions and equipment
- Six to ten years of metal building experience.
