Position: Biology PhD
Type: Hourly contractor
Compensation: $65–$75/hour

Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team of experts in your domain.
- Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.
- Develop high-quality content to inform the future of AI innovation.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the work is fully remote and asynchronous.
Must-Have
- Master's or PhD in Biology from a top US university.
- Experience coding in Python, R for projects or research.
- Field-specific experience in Ecology, Biochemistry, or Genetics.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.
- Late December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Complete a short interview to assess your domain expertise.
- Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding time including the screening process and onboarding videos if hired.
- Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.
- Paid out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
