Healthcare Data Analyst (SQL / FHIR / OMOP)

Location: New Jesey, Remote (must be able to interview in person)

Salary range: $70k-$100k + Bonus

Key Skills & Requirements

  • FHIR Knowledge: Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR standards for healthcare data interoperability.
  • Healthcare Data Analysis: Proven ability to analyze large, complex healthcare datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Data Models (OMOP/CDM or equivalent): Experience working with OMOP Common Data Model or similar healthcare data models.
  • SQL Expertise: Solid SQL skills with the ability to write, optimize, and run large volumes of queries.
  • Cloud Exposure: Basic familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is sufficient.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize large-scale SQL queries across healthcare datasets.
  • Perform STTM (Source to Target Mapping) to align data with OMOP/CDM or other models.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Science and Product teams to support analytics, modeling, and product development.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of data workflows and mappings.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with healthcare standards.
