And since “you only get one shot”, creating captivating content is more important than ever. As the Social Media Coordinator at Ross Video, your job will be to support the global social presence by creating engaging, audience-first content optimized for each platform. The coordinator helps amplify Ross Video’s brand through storytelling that makes complex technology interesting, accessible, and relevant to diverse audiences. And better yet, can you do that while leveraging Gen-Z creativity, but still talking to the millennial and Gen-X audiences who are “sus” about new languages and trends #hashtagsixseven.

What the job is all about:
Content Creation & Execution
- Create channel-specific content optimized for social (copy, visuals, short-form video).
- Repurpose user-generated content (UGC), influencer content, and event content.
- Edit videos using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, and TikTok/Instagram native editors.
- Build content tailored to platform best practices (length, dimensions, SEO, trends).
- Maintain and track content calendar in Asana.
- Monitor all social channels and respond to comments, messages, tags, and mentions.
- Mirror Ross Video’s communication style and tone when engaging with the community.
- Escalate sensitive comments, issues, or opportunities to senior team members as needed.
- Monitor conversations about Ross Video and products on platforms such as Reddit, Discord, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Identify trends, pain points, opportunities, and relevant industry topics.
- Share insights to guide content strategy and audience targeting.
- Collaborate with the Advocacy Specialist to source and coordinate UGC.
- Support influencer and creator partnerships by identifying potential collaborators and tracking content, communication, and performance.
- Compile weekly, monthly, and event-specific data reports.
- Deep knowledge of platform shifts, meme culture, and emerging digital behaviors. Bonus if you’re ”chronically online.”
- Ensure all content aligns with Ross Video’s Style Guide, content pillars, brand voice, and platform best practices.
- Support scheduling and posting using social media management tools.
Experience
- 4–5 years in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Portfolio is a requirement.
- Proven success creating short-form, platform-native content.
- Experience with TikTok, Reddit, Discord, and social listening tools.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to distill complex technical topics into engaging, audience-friendly content.
- Highly proactive self-starter who actively contributes ideas, recommends stronger content approaches, and transforms tagged content into valuable assets.
- Excellent understanding of platform algorithms, trends, memes, and best practices.
- Ability to create and edit multimedia content (video, thumbnails, graphics, carousels).
- Ability to leverage AI for research and idea generation, but relies on personal creative expertise to craft polished, original final outputs.
- Strong community management skills with attention to tone and audience.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, channels, and formats.
- Knowledge of SEO for social media.
- Adobe Premiere Pro (desktop & mobile)

- Native platform editors (Instagram, TikTok)
- Sprout Social
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (bonus)
- Experience with influencer marketing.
- Understanding of B2B tech audiences or broadcast/media tech.
- Familiarity with UGC sourcing and creator relations.
- Experience working across different global regions.
