Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our team with daily administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, working with people, and helping keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to department managers and staff
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal appointments
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Maintain organized filing systems—both physical and digital
- Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and database updates
- Support onboarding processes (paperwork, badge setup, training schedules)
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and route inquiries to appropriate staff
- Coordinate office supplies, purchase requests, and vendor communication
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently and managing shifting priorities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with SAP, NetSuite, or other ERP systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
