Manager, Media & Entertainment (Hybrid)

The hours 9A-6P PST with in office Tue/Wed/Thurs.
In this role, you will be accountable for managing a global operations team, focusing on managing all aspects of travel. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced, exciting industry and who is looking for their next challenge within the entertainment industry. We want someone who enjoys building strong and trusting client and supplier relationships, who relishes working in a challenging environment, and who is looking to do things just a little bit differently than the norm. You will be someone who is dedicated to their team, enjoys working as part of a larger organization, and is constantly looking at ways to improve the current operations. This position demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the entertainment travel industry, client servicing, and business practices.

As a Manager, Media & Entertainment, you will
- Have extensive knowledge of media and entertainment, as well as at least one travel industry category, allowing you to provide direction on best practices to improve operational processes
- Serve as a liaison among clients, travelers, and suppliers by listening, problem-solving, and communicating both verbally and in writing
- Develop and maintain relationships with our suppliers, and be the escalation point for vendor concerns
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various levels of the organization
- Communicate travel initiatives, travel category results, updates to the program, or industry
- Ensure all operational goals are consistently met and work to implement and measure continuous improvement efforts
- Prior operations management experience in the travel industry and the Media & Entertainment field
- Experience managing Entertainment and VIP clients
- Strong knowledge of Sabre GDS is required
- Experience with contract negotiations, payment solutions, and supplier sourcing
- Experience working in cross-functional work teams and with large market and/or global clients
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to lead - setting direction, developing teamwork and collaboration, and achieving results through others
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
