Boston Behavior Learning Centers (BBLC) is seeking a proactive and skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) to lead recruitment efforts and help position BBLC as the employer of choice in the ABA services field. In this role, you will drive strategic sourcing, support a high-volume hiring environment, and serve as the primary point of contact for applicants. You will work closely with leadership to fulfill hiring goals across multiple centers and service areas while contributing to recruitment branding and process improvement.
This role includes occasional travel (up to 20%) to attend career fairs, networking events, and recruitment initiatives throughout the BBLC regions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines through networking and outreach.
- Post and manage job advertisements across platforms including Indeed, LinkedIn, and Handshake.
- Conduct resume screening and preliminary phone interviews aligned with hiring criteria.
- Partner with hiring managers and directors to coordinate a streamlined interview process.
- Maintain strong relationships with job boards and sourcing platforms.
- Represent BBLC at job fairs, college events, and community outreach opportunities.
- Assist with job description development and hiring criteria.
- Manage candidate records and communication using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure accurate recruiting metrics and headcount tracking.
- Coordinate offer letters, hiring logistics, and support preemployment checks.
- Maintain organized systems for hiring activity, including new hire and termination tracking.
- Facilitate recruitment handoffs to the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Assist HR in evaluating and improving recruitment processes and reporting.
- Support recruiting campaigns through flyers, social media content, and newsletters.
- Ensure BBLC’s values, mission, and culture are consistently represented across platforms.
- Conduct market research on pay, compensation trends, and recruitment strategies.
- Brainstorm innovative approaches to increase hiring success in competitive markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (Relevant recruiting experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- 12+ years of experience in recruitment, outreach, or a related area. (ABA industry experience may substitute for recruitment experience.)
- Experience using recruitment platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn) and social media hiring strategies.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding practices.
- Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems.
- Detailoriented, organized, and skilled at balancing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly approach.
- Ability to analyze recruiting pipeline data and hiring metrics.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); design tools like Canva are a plus.
- Experience with WordPress or basic web design — a bonus!
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
