Our Unapplied Cash Analyst position is responsible for all cash application functions within the finance department including reviewing and reconciling unapplied cash and will support general areas of operations as well as provide administrative and organizational support. This is a remote position within the US; relocation and sponsorship are not available for consideration.

Job Description includes and is not limited to:

  • Review and reconcile unapplied cash
  • Work closely with sites to confirm visit activity
  • Enter charges into the clinical trial management system (CTMS) if/when needed
  • Application of receivables to Cash Receipts Log for all lines of business
  • Transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance detail provided by pharmaceutical companies
  • Ensure accuracy of cash postings by contacting pharmaceutical companies to verify payment remittance details
  • Review, interpret and discuss remittances from payers for data accuracy

Qualifications for success include:

  • High School Diploma obtained, Associate's Degree highly preferred
  • 1+ year work experience with basic financial operations including: debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures and payment lifecycles
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
  • Understanding of how payments flow, how to match payments to invoices, and how unapplied cash affects financials.
  • Additional qualifications include ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash. Strong attention to detail, problem solving and clear communication skills.
