The Opportunity

Join our Content Monetization team as an Audience Development Specialist, focused on growing Postmedia’s commerce brand, and supporting new projects and services. You’ll be a subject matter expert (SME) for audience growth, content amplification, and off-platform audience and revenue expansion.

What you'll do:

• Drive audience acquisition and engagement across digital and emerging platforms.
• Lead SEO and Google Console strategy to maximize commerce performance.
• Execute content development and amplification tactics to diversify monetization channels.
• Develop and implement strategies for tentpole events and seasonal campaigns, including managing budget and paid ad strategies.
• Identify growth gaps.
• Activate CPC and affiliate revenue opportunities.
• Expand Canoe’s presence on third-party platforms (TikTok, Snapchat).
• Create branded visuals aligned with Canoe’s identity using Canva.
• Maintain and evolve style guides and affiliate best practices.
• Monitor platform updates to safeguard and grow commerce visibility.
  
  

Who you are:

• Proven experience in content strategy, commerce/affiliate marketing, SEO, and audience development.
• Strong research skills and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Expertise in social media management and audience building (organic and paid).
• Creative skills for image and asset creation (Canva experience preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
