Role Overview

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to advance multimodal machine learning—technology that enables AI to interpret visuals and sound. We are seeking detail-oriented freelance contributors to review short video and audio clips and compare AI-generated outputs. This is a short-term, fully remote engagement with flexible hours. Your evaluations will directly improve the accuracy and reliability of next-generation AI systems.

Eligibility

• Based in United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia.
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate audio, images, and video content.
• Compare AI outputs and select the option that best meets quality criteria.
• Add concise tags/annotations for training and benchmarking.
• Follow project guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (native or near-native).
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Reliable adherence to instructions and quality standards.
• Independent worker comfortable with focused, repetitive tasks.
  
  
  

Engagement & Schedule

• Fully remote and asynchronous; set your own hours.
• Short-term, contract-based role.

Compensation & Contract

• $16 per hour for time spent on tasks.
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor arrangement.
