Position: Industrial Engineer

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $75–$150/hour

Location: US, UK, or Canada

Duration: 3–4 weeks

Commitment: 15+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design questions related to Industrial Engineering for AI research projects.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance question quality and relevance.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure questions align with industry standards and professional practices.
  • Utilize your professional experience to contribute to AI advancements.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years full-time work experience as an Industrial Engineer.
  • Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).

Compensation & Legal

  • Industry-standard compensation expectations will be met.
  • Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours.
  • Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
  • Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
