Position Overview 

The Vice President of Servicing will lead and scale our asset servicing function, ensuring the efficient administration, reporting and client delivery for all portfolios under management. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving process improvements, managing risk and regulatory compliance, and serving as the primary liaison between operations, clients and internal stakeholders. This is a high-visibility leadership role with P&L accountability and direct oversight of a multi-disciplinary team. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic financial leader with a deep understanding of revenue cycle management, financial operations, and data-driven decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Leadership: 

  • Build, mentor and develop a high-performing servicing team (operations, client support, cash management, reporting). 

  • Set clear objectives, manage performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. 

  • Servicing Operations & Controls: 

  • Oversee all aspects of portfolio servicing, including payment processing, escrow and sub-servicing, default management, investor remittance and reconciliation. 

  • Establish and monitor operational controls and SLAs to ensure quality and consistency. 

  • Establish proactive credit policies and escalation procedures to manage high-risk accounts. 

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce billing errors, disputes, and payment delays. 

  • Financial Oversight 

  • Own the servicing budget, forecast headcount and operating expenses. 

  • Monitor P&L impact of servicing operations and drive initiatives to optimize cost structure. 

  • Systems and Process Optimization: 

  • Drive automation and technology improvements in revenue operations systems (ERP, CRM, billing platforms, etc.). 

  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in revenue management, billing, collections, or financial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. 

  • Deep understanding of servicing processes for multiple asset types including TPO and loan portfolios. 

  • Proven track record implementing servicing platforms and workflow automation tools. 

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level. 

  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities.
