Position: Lawyer

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $100–$200/hour

Location: US, UK, or Canada

Duration: 3–4 weeks

Commitment: 15+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design questions related to the legal profession using your experience as a Lawyer.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure the quality and relevance of legal content for AI model training.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality.
  • Adapt to flexible hours while maintaining high standards of work.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years full-time work experience as a Lawyer.
  • Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).

Compensation & Legal

  • At-will contractor to Mercor.
  • Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
  • Industry-standard compensation expectations met.
  • Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
