The Human Resources (HR) Manager for Western U.S. and Canada division (WUSCAN) supports the full employee lifecycle and provides human resource services in areas such as employee relations, compensation, talent management, performance management, benefits, staff development and training, employee communications, and talent acquisition.

This position serves as a trusted advisor to all levels of employees and reports directly to the WUSCAN division HR Director. Preference for candidates located within the WUSCAN - Western United States geography.
Responsibilities Include
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $71,120 – 100,725 (Grade Level 7). This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.

Responsibilities Include
- Responds to moderately complex employee/management questions and problems based on knowledge of HR best practices, TNC guidelines and U.S. employment law.
- Consults with hiring managers on the recruitment process, including creation of and/or consultation on job design, job descriptions, grade levels and compensation.
- Collaborates with the divisional recruiter to ensure recruiting efforts remain on track and are completed in a timely manner.
- Work with hiring managers and local operations staff to develop effective onboarding plans to ensure staff are effectively onboarded in a timely manner.
- Support managers and staff with Performance Partnership process including objective setting, performance management, rating calibration, and merit planning.
- Collaborates with HRBPs and Employee Relations team to assist with employee relations matters and concerns.
- Support the Associate HRD and HRD to assess workforce planning needs including promotions, reclass and restructuring.
- Support the Associate HRD and HRD to implement annual equity reviews to ensure pay disparities are appropriately justified and/or corrected.
- Coordinate with Worldwide office Global Mobility team on immigration matters.
- Will require some amount of travel domestically and evening and weekend hours.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field or a minimum of 5 years related work experience in area(s) of specialization or equivalent combination.
- Experience developing and leading multiple HR-related projects and implementing strategic HR programs.
- Experience supporting employees in the U.S. with demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State employment law including FLSA, FMLA, and other related standards.
- Experience responding to moderately complex HR related questions and problems from employees/management within the context of U.S. employment law and standards
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: employee relations, compensation, benefits, investigations, organizational design, performance management, separations, restructuring, workforce planning, employment law.
- Experience facilitating complex and crucial conversations and building effective consultative relationships.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet commitments.
- Experience working with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing and implementing change management plans.
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Experience developing HR related policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to juggle multiple competing and time-sensitive priorities.
- Experience producing reports and interpreting data to inform people priorities and recommendations.
- Experience evaluating multiple processes to develop a unified standard.
- Ability to design comprehensive HR recommendations and advise all levels of employees to influence the best outcomes for the organization and employees.
- Ability to travel within division geography.
- HR certification preferred (such as AIHR, PHR, SHRM-CP).
