dormakaba is seeking a Regional Sales Representative remotely based in Western Canada. The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling electronic access control systems, cloud-based security platforms, and integrated technologies tailored to the unique needs of the hospitality industry. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans within the assigned territory, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans within the assigned territory, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What You Will Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospitality sector, focusing on electronic access control systems, cloud-based solutions, and integrated security technologies
- Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue targets, collaborating with marketing and product teams to align strategies
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to effectively position products and solutions
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close sales deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals
- Develop reports and presentations that summarize sales performance, forecasts, and progress towards targets and u tilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and provide regular updates to management
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel 25-50%
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Sales experience within the access control, security, or hospitality industries
- Experience in pipeline development and forecasting and consultative selling
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
