Use Your Real Estate Expertise to Protect New Home Buyers!
Are you a real estate lawyer with hands-on experience guiding clients through the home-buying journey? Leverage your insights and experience by joining the Home Construction Regulatory Authority's (HCRA) Consumer Advisory Council (CAC), and help protect future buyers.
Your Role and Impact:
The CAC plays a vital role in providing independent, non-partisan advice to the HCRA's Board of Directors on issues that matter to new home buyers. As a member, you'll leverage your experience guiding clients through the home-buying process to offer insights that strengthen protections for new home buyers. You'll help shape strategies for awareness, engagement, and service delivery, contributing to a more informed and confident marketplace where buyers are protected and empowered.

The personal information you provide is being collected as authorised by the terms of the New Home Construction Licensing Act, 2017 ("NHCLA") and the Administrative Agreement between the Home Construction Regulatory Authority ("HCRA") the Minister of Government and Consumer Services (now Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement). The Access and Privacy Code under this Agreement governs the collection, use, disclosure, and retention of this information by the HCRA.
The information will be used to determine your qualifications for employment with the HCRA and is necessary to the HCRA's administration of the NHCLA.
Please be advised that, to assist its hiring process, the HCRA uses a service provider located in the United States of America; the personal information you provide will be stored on the service provider's servers, subject to its privacy policy (available here) and the laws of its jurisdiction.
