This Assistant Program Manager (APM) position will plan, direct, or coordinate small boat program activities as directed by the Program Manager. The AP will work directly with the United States Coast Guard to review or have reviewed Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items. The Manager will assist with specification development, design reviews, physical configuration audits, presentations and metrics and help resolve program issues arising during the design and construction phases of multiple and concurrent boat acquisition projects. Tasking will primarily come from CG-9325 Government APMs.

- Experience supporting a federal system maritime acquisition program preferably Coast Guard or Navy.
- Working knowledge of Coast Guard Mission Business Support Model is highly desirable
- Excellent written/oral professional communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Shall have a BA/BS; strong preference given to candidates with a related master’s degree. 6 years work experience may be substituted for a BS and 12 years work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree.
- Shall have 3 plus years demonstrated experience with government acquisitions.
- Experience in the maritime acquisitions is highly desirable
