VP, Business Services Domain (Microsoft D365 ERP and CRM)
Strategic Imperative
The Vice President, Business Services Domain is an executive role responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Business Services Domain (BSD) talent pool within the Hitachi Solutions Americas regional business unit. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Americas Delivery Domain, and oversees multiple Domain Directors, each managing a specialized pool of consultants aligned to a specific Delivery Domain - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), Microsoft Dynamics D365 custom application solutions
The VP drives organizational excellence in people management, workforce planning, delivery capability development, and performance across the BSD talent pool. This leader ensures that our teams deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients while fostering a thriving, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture. The VP supports the overall vision for the Americas Delivery Domain and Hitachi Solutions Americas by fostering team growth, managing employee engagement, training, risk, and providing ongoing mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Empower the Domain Directors (direct reports) to coach, mentor, and develop employees within the Domain through career development planning, performance management, and career path design.
- Ensure there is role clarity and best practices within the domain specialty areas.
- Ensure customer focus for all employees in the domain by coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback through the Domain Directors.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure effective hiring practices and appropriate staffing levels within the Domain.
- Partner with Americas Resourcing Group to support centralized staffing in the Americas
- Ensure Domain Directors' accountability by establishing metrics for their employee management, skilling, utilization, capacity, and certifications, as well as their own development goals.
- Champion Hitachi Core Values among department members, supporting our company’s DEI initiatives to ensure sustainable growth.
- Partner with GDC Managers as it relates to project assignments and staffing.
- Responsible for overseeing the mid-year and annual performance management process within the Domain.
- Follow the established performance feedback process through employee recognition, rewards, and corrective action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
- Responsible for team performance and reporting on metrics, including utilization for the Domain.
- Responsible for monthly Rhythm of the Business Reporting for BSD
- Lead strategic initiatives that support the Domain's goals as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience in managing teams, with a proven ability to lead multiple people managers and their teams effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowering and developing team members through coaching, mentoring, and career development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with HR and other stakeholders to ensure proper staffing and hiring practices.
- Proven ability to establish clear role definitions and implement best practices within domain specialty areas.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to instill the same focus within the team through regular coaching and feedback.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to set and monitor metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and supporting company initiatives for sustainable growth.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to partner effectively with GDC and Resource Managers on project assignments and staffing.

Base Salary Pay Range*: CAD $205,000 – CAD $275,000
- The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
