About YouthInspirED FoundationYouthInspirED Foundation (YIED) is a youth-led organization entirely managed by individuals under the age of 30. It was established with the mission of "Empowering youth to become successful leaders through participation in, and management of, their own tutoring programs.”
YIED engages in two primary activities:
- First, we offer free, virtual, tutoring programs to youth across Canada. Currently, we have chapters in Halifax, Toronto, Lethbridge, and Vancouver.
- Second, we empower young people by providing the necessary funding, resources, and mentorship to lead and manage these tutoring initiatives.
YouthInspirED is seeking two motivated and creative Program Development Officers to support our organizational growth in Nova Scotia, through our local chapter, The Halifax Helpers, and nationally.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to make a tangible impact at the intersection of youth empowerment, education, and community development. The Program Development Officers will play key roles in strengthening YIED’s capacity, supporting local outreach, and helping execute our strategic growth plan.
We’re looking for individuals who are proactive, resourceful, and excited to wear multiple hats. Our ideal candidate will not only contribute to ongoing programs but also help shape new initiatives.
