This is a remote position based in New Brunswick, with regular travel to Halifax required to collaborate with teams and clients on site. The pace of work is dynamic and fast-changing, so we’re seeking someone agile, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and career development, ideal for a motivated individual who thrives on learning and adapting in a collaborative, technical setting.

  • Participate in multi-discipline projects, including developing deliverables from concept through calculations and detailed design, and final / stamped issue.
  • Perform detailed reviews of project electrical design specifications, design drawings and standard detail drawings. Perform calculations including load studies, lighting levels, cable sizing and voltage drop.
  • Develop Engineering Work Packages including single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, control panel layouts, installation details and, where required, written project phasing progression.
  • Understand and complete work within established project budgets ensuring work is completed according to the defined contractual scope and execution strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external senior engineers and designers for support and development on more challenging tasks.
  • Travel to the field for project scoping, verification, construction support and meeting with clients as needed.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to more junior team members.

Your profile
