Position Summary

The BIM Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing Building Information Models (BIM) for healthcare and medical facility projects. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce coordinated and accurate 3D models that align with project standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and experience working within multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate design data across different teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare 3D visualizations, clash detection reports, and model-based documentation.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards, templates, and workflows across projects.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to integrate BIM processes into design and construction planning.
• Ensure that all BIM deliverables meet client expectations, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Manage model versions, maintain file organization, and support model-based coordination meetings.
• Provide training and technical guidance on BIM tools and workflows as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Strong understanding of building systems, healthcare facility standards, and construction documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare design standards and medical equipment layouts is an asset.
