Position Summary

The Remote CAD Designer / Draftsman will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and layouts based on project specifications, design briefs, and industry standards. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to prepare accurate plans for healthcare facilities and related structures. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and finalize 2D and 3D CAD drawings for medical and healthcare-related projects.
• Interpret design sketches, architectural plans, and technical data into professional CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain organized drawing files, project documentation, and version control.
• Ensure all drawings meet local building codes, healthcare standards, and internal quality guidelines.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize design outcomes.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a CAD Designer, Draftsman, or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, construction principles, and building layouts.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
