Job Summary
The VP of Finance will lead our FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury functions. This person will
serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and the broader senior leadership team,
providing financial insights, planning, and controls to drive sustainable growth, margin
improvement, capital efficiency, and operational excellence. Manufacturing industry
experience is essential; strong cost accounting, efficiency tracking, and capital deployment

Key Responsibilities
FP&A: Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasting. Provide
scenario modeling, variance analysis, and signal risks/opportunities.
Operational & Cost Efficiency: Work closely with operations teams to track cost and
operational metrics. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Accounting & Controls: Oversee full accounting cycle (monthly, quarterly, annual
close), ensure GAAP compliance, audit readiness, accurate reporting of financials,
cost accounting standards, inventory valuation, including standard vs actual cost
variances.
Treasury / Cash Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting; manage working
capital, capital expenditure plans; ensure liquidity; manage banking/financing
relationships.
Strategic Partnering: Provide financial insights to guide business stewardship –
pricing, product mix, capital investments, capacity planning.
Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop/monitor KPIs for financial health.
Provide timely, accurate reporting to CEO / Board.
Team Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to a focused finance team
(Accounting and FP&A) by setting clear standards, driving accountability, and
fostering continuous improvement. Ensure resources are used effectively and
position the team to remain agile and responsive as the business evolves.

Competencies & Qualifications
- Deep understanding of production cost structures and exposure to manufacturing cost dynamics.
- Understanding of subscription businesses and cohort-based modeling.
- Experience with cost and inventory accounting.
- Ability to build robust models, sensitivity analyses, and scenario planning.
- Data-driven mindset; comfort with KPI dashboards.
- Solid grounding in internal controls, GAAP, and audit processes.
- Treasury experience, including forecasting cash and working capital optimization.
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; NetSuite is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics. CPA, CMA or MBA is a plus.
- 10-15+ years of experience in progressively senior finance roles, with strong manufacturing and B2B exposure.
- Hands-on cost accounting, efficiency improvement, and capital allocation.
- Demonstrated track record in leading FP&A, accounting, and treasury functions.
- Familiar with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; able to work cross-functionally to drive change.
- Experience optimizing cost structures, driving productivity improvements, managing working capital, and evaluating capital projects.
