What you’ll be doing

As a UX/UI designer you’ll be working to design experiences and interfaces across a variety of channels to help us build, market and sell our enterprise-grade SAAS platform that is focused on helping customers improve their open source security. We are on the cusp of releasing brand new features and product lines are looking for a candidate who is excited to help the many teams that bring our products to market and has proven experience along the entire design to delivery process.

You will work with our teams to turn research insights and existing requirements into wireframes and clickable prototypes that will be used to validate our approach as well as creating marketing assets to support our important growth strategies.



Key Responsibilities

• Work with Product Managers to gather feature requirements and produce iterations of detailed wireframes and clickable prototypes to test and validate design direction.
• Assist in conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
• Assist the marketing team to update and create a variety of new pages, content, sections, forms and interactive elements on our Wordpress-based company website.
• Review metrics collected by analytics tools within our many properties to identify potential improvements and create experiments to validate them.
• Occasionally support other groups at ActiveState by helping create decks, diagrams and other visual assets.
• Implement our design language and style guide.
  
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum 3 years experience in related roles.
• Experience working on an enterprise-grade SAAS software platform.
• Strong knowledge of user interface design and user experience principles.
• Strong knowledge of Figma for both wireframing, prototyping and production-ready design work.
• Strong knowledge of HTML & CSS.
• Experience working with Wordpress, and with the Elementor content editor specifically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
