Position: Visual Arts (2-D) Criticism and Instruction Expert
Type: Independent contractor

Role Responsibilities
- Analyze digital artworks to identify artistic intent, composition, and stylistic influences.
- Evaluate technical execution, originality, and overall artistic success.
- Distinguish authentic, human-made work from AI-generated imagery through detailed critique.
- Assess contextual presentation factors such as lighting, cropping, and digitization quality.
- Provide structured ratings and written feedback capturing both qualitative and quantitative insight.
- Contribute to a growing dataset that informs research on creativity, authorship, and digital image evaluation.
Must-Have
- 4+ years of professional experience as a college-level instructor in visual arts, curator, or art director.
- Demonstrated expertise in two-dimensional media such as illustration, painting, photography, or digital art.
- Proven ability to critique and grade artwork with depth, precision, and fairness.
- Strong writing and analytical skills, able to clearly express artistic evaluation.
- Familiarity with digital media, portfolio presentation, and emerging AI-generated art trends.
- A professional or personal portfolio that reflects artistic competence and discernment.
