Location: Toronto, ON (Remote) or Vancouver BC


Our client, a respected and fast-growing player in the natural food sector, is seeking a Vice President of Sales & Marketing to join their senior leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial strategy of a purpose-driven, branded business committed to quality, sustainability, and growth.


The Role

Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing will lead all aspects of the company's commercial agenda across Canada, with responsibility for both the Sales and Marketing functions. This includes managing a team of key account managers, field sales professionals, and marketing leaders to deliver on brand growth, market share expansion, and customer engagement objectives.


Some of what you will do in this role includes:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's national sales and marketing strategy.
  • Oversee and mentor a high-performing team across sales, key accounts, field operations, and marketing.
  • Manage relationships with major Canadian retailers including Loblaw, Sobeys, Metro, and Costco, ensuring strong alignment and execution at both the head office and store levels.
  • Drive brand positioning, innovation, and marketing communications to strengthen visibility and consumer loyalty.
  • Develop and manage the annual commercial plan, budget, and performance metrics to ensure profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Finance, and Product Development as part of the senior leadership team.


To be successful, you should have the following in your background:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), ideally within the natural, organic, or better-for-you food category.
  • Proven success managing branded products through national retail channels.
  • Strong network and understanding of major Canadian grocery retailers and distributors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams across multiple functions.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growth oriented business.
