Position Summary
This role will support the procurement team in managing software vendor agreements, analyzing spend data, and executing sourcing strategies. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for optimizing procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the review, negotiation, and tracking of software contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, renewals, and licensing terms.
- Maintain and update the vendor agreement repository and contract tracker tools (e.g., IntelAgree, LogicGate).
- Conduct spend analysis using procurement tools and Excel to identify cost-saving opportunities and compliance gaps.
- Support sourcing events and RFP processes for software and IT-related services.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and risk mitigation.
- Prepare dashboards and reports summarizing vendor performance, contract status, and spend trends.
- Provide administrative support for purchase requisitions, PO creation, and vendor onboarding.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management (internships included).
- Familiarity with software licensing models and SaaS agreements preferred.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to spend analytics tools and contract lifecycle management systems.
- Understanding of standard contractual terms and general risk management best practices.
- Experience supporting vendor negotiations or RFPs.
The Compensation range for this role is $75,000 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
