About the Role:

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Sales Representative will be responsible for connecting with hospital and specialty pharmacy teams to promote Healthmark’s solutions. You’ll drive sales, provide training, attend pharmacy conferences, and deliver top-tier customer service. This role involves travel across Alberta and occasional trips outside Canada.


The successful applicant will:

  • Meet decision-makers at Hospital Pharmacies, IT, Nursing, and Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Educate staff on our solutions and benefits.
  • Call on Hospital and Specialty Pharmacies to maintain and develop sales in your territory.
  • Provide “best in class” customer service and build customer relationships.
  • Update and report into our CRM system.
  • Increase sales in both our consumable and automation products.
  • Gather market research and explore new avenues of business.
  • Attend local pharmacy-related conferences to promote Healthmark Products.
  • Perform site installation and training on many of our products and services.


We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician.
  • Preferably 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a hospital setting.
  • Experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written); a second language is welcome.
  • A vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
  • Familiarity with technology.
  • Ability to travel to sites across Alberta.
  • Occasional travel outside of your territory for meetings and conferences.
  • Familiarity with Healthcare Buying Groups/Contracts.
  • Passport and ability to travel outside of Canada occasionally.
