Position: Strategic Document Specialist

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $60–$110/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 1–4 weeks

Commitment: Flexible weekly hours

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyze internal and external data sources to generate structured briefing documents.
  • Draft clear, well-organized content to support executive presentations and strategic reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define messaging, flow, and narrative structure.
  • Produce supporting materials such as memos, summaries, and annotated outlines for slide creation.
  • Apply domain-specific understanding to contextualize findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, investment analysis, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize research, data, and stakeholder input into structured written outputs.
  • Experience developing decks for board reviews, business reviews, investment memos, grant proposals, or product strategy.
  • Strong written communication and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with formatting standards for executive or board-level presentations.

Compensation & Legal

  • Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
  • Classified as an independent contractor
