We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the company’s financial records and transactions. This role will focus primarily on invoicing, accounts payable, and cash reconciliation, while also supporting broader accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining accurate financial data in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the company’s financial records and transactions. This role will focus primarily on invoicing, accounts payable, and cash reconciliation, while also supporting broader accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining accurate financial data in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Invoicing & Accounts Receivable
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Interpret client contracts to ensure correct billing terms.
- Record incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts.
- Review and enter vendor bills and employee expenses.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy.
- Schedule and process payments (check, ACH, or other approved methods).
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts and bank transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
- Monitor cash flow and report variances to management.
- Maintain cash logs and reconciliation reports.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate journal entries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare internal financial summaries and reports.
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of payroll expenses.
- Track and categorize expenses for budgeting and forecasting.
- File and organize financial documents for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 preparation, and other regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors when needed.
- Uphold internal controls and company financial policies.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, Brex, and Bill.com.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a distributed team.
- High integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years of equivalent field experience.
- Experience in small to mid-sized service-based organizations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across global teams.
