Position: Wholesale Sales Representative

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $50–$65/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 weeks

Commitment: 20–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Write tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world wholesale sales work for non-technical and non-scientific products.
  • Create realistic situations involving client prospecting, product demonstrations, price negotiations, and order processing.
  • Develop scenarios for building customer relationships, handling objections, managing territories, and meeting sales targets.
  • Review and evaluate AI responses to wholesale sales queries for accuracy and professional standards.
  • Provide detailed feedback on business-to-business sales scenarios to improve AI training.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to cutting-edge AI research.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years professional experience as a wholesale sales representative in non-technical and non-scientific products.
  • Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
  • Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems.
  • Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
  • Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

Preferred

  • 14 years experience preferred.

Start Date

  • Immediate; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Compensation & Legal

  • Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
  • Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
