Position Overview

The Recruitment Assistant supports the hiring and onboarding operations of Altheda Medical Center by coordinating applicant communications, screening calls, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate records, and assisting with sourcing efforts. This role ensures that every applicant, from first contact to final onboarding, experiences a professional and organized process reflective of Altheda’s values of respect, hospitality, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track job postings across multiple platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.).
  • Review applications, screen resumes, and pre-qualify candidates based on role requirements.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate availability between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Send applicant communications and follow-ups in a timely, courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in applicant tracking systems.
  • Assist with onboarding logistics, such as document collection, credentialing coordination, and HR file setup.
  • Support internal tracking of recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Conduct preliminary outreach to educational institutions, career centers, or professional networks for candidate sourcing.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to company standards, confidentiality, and data protection policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leads to improve recruitment workflow and candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field).
  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative, HR, or recruitment support roles preferred (internship experience acceptable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, or HRIS tools preferred.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently in a remote environment.
  • Professional demeanor and discretion when handling sensitive information.
