Position: AI Safety Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Safety Team to design and execute custom red-teaming exercises and training programs.
- Conduct targeted adversarial testing across technical, social, and multimodal domains.
- Develop attack scenarios and evaluation frameworks aligned with frontier model safety objectives.
- Document findings clearly, with both technical detail and executive-level summaries.
- Contribute to ongoing research on AI risk, alignment, and adversarial resilience.
- Support special projects, pilots, and rapid-response evaluations as needed.
Must-Have
- Proven experience in red-teaming, adversarial ML, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of AI safety challenges and frontier model risks.
- Ability to think creatively and systematically about adversarial threats.
- Excellent communication skills; capable of writing clear, structured reports.
- Flexible, adaptive mindset; comfortable with exploratory, project-based work.
- Prior experience working with LLMs or multimodal AI systems.
- Knowledge of AI alignment, bias/fairness, misinformation, and security risks.
- Background in both technical exploits and social/psychological attack vectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on open-ended problems.
