The Job: Regional Vice President, Operations - Luxury Portfolio.

This role will lead our portfolio of luxury independent properties to include: The Chatham Inn; The Marquesa Hotel; Little Palm Island Resort & Spa; Snake River Sporting Club; and L'Auberge Del Mar. They will ensure operational excellence, brand integrity, and elevated guest experiences across all locations. This role will bring with them a strong expertise in Forbes Travel Guide standards, Relais & Châteaux philosophy, and Michelin Guide criteria, with a focus on cultivating a culture of excellence, innovation, and hospitality leadership.

This role can be based in the Kirkland/Seattle area or remotely for us around the United States (ideally within Washington, South Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Virginia or Florida). This role will be required to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Operational Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple luxury properties, ensuring alignment with brand standards and financial goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with Forbes, Relais & Châteaux, and Michelin standards across all touchpoints.

Brand & Quality Assurance

  • Lead quality audits and service evaluations using Forbes and Michelin benchmarks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Relais & Châteaux and Michelin Guide representatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in luxury hospitality.

Team Development & Culture Building

  • Mentor and support General Managers across the luxury portfolio.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Lead recruitment and succession planning for key leadership roles.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance for each property.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership on capital planning and investment strategies.

Guest Experience & Reputation Management

  • Ensure consistent delivery of personalized, anticipatory service across all properties.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reputation metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and within the luxury hospitality community.

Requirements

To be successful as the Regional Vice President, Operations - Luxury Portfolio, you:

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in luxury independent hospitality, with multi-property oversight.
  • Proven success managing Forbes Five-Star, Relais & Châteaux, and Michelin-rated properties.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service culture, culinary excellence, and guest personalization.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region.

Salary Description

$250,000.00 - $260,000.00 + Bonus Incentive
