These talented team members are supported by dedicated professionals out of our corporate office - including our state-of-the-art Operations Control Center and world-class Maintenance Operation - located at AFW, Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, in Fort Worth, Texas. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of our business and will require evening and weekend availability when needed.
SUMMARY
The primary role of a Gridiron Air Flight Attendant is to ensure the safety and security of our passengers while they are onboarding our aircraft and to offer exceptional passenger service. Reports to the Director of Inflight.

GENERAL DUTIES
- Ensure the safety and comfort of guests onboard the aircraft.
- Follow all Federal Aviation Regulations as required as well as all established Gridiron policies and procedures.
- Adhere to established procedures and performance standards without supervision.
- Be dependable and complete all scheduled duty assignments or re-assignments per Gridiron Air policy.
- Coordinate with other crew members, employees, and providers to ensure safe and reliable airline operations.
- Comply with safety regulations and company procedures by inspecting and safely operating aircraft cabin components, systems, and ensuring all emergency equipment onboard the aircraft is secured and in working order.
- Prepare the cabin for departures and arrivals as required by the FAA and Gridiron Air procedures.
- Greet passengers and assist with carry-on baggage, stowage, and deliver onboard announcements.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft cabin, including assistance with cleaning the aircraft cabin after each flight.
- Efficiently prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages, meals, snacks and onboard liquor and food.
- Provide effective leadership, direction, and assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Calmly resolve guest situations during flight, including disorderly guests, and medical emergencies.
- Provide emergency medical assistance (e.g., performing CPR and basic first aid).
- Ensure passengers receive prompt and courteous service during their flight.
- Successfully complete all required training.
- Maintain professional appearance and compliance with uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Participates and complies with all DOT, FAA regulations and Gridiron Air policies regarding drug and alcohol compliance of safety-sensitive transportation employees.
- Report all operational issues and deviations in a timely manner to Inflight Management.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment DOT drug tests.
- Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to change and adapt to meet the demands of the job, including accepting schedule changes on short notice.
- Must possess a valid, unexpired passport with at least 18 months of validity, the ability to travel in and out of the United States, and the ability to travel to all current and future international destinations served by Gridiron Air will be required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently.
- Must maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance per Company standards as described in established guidelines.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or crouch as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and push & pull a beverage cart (up to 250 pounds).
- Must be able to reach 80 vertical inches to operate all necessary equipment and doors.
- Must have the ability to sit in assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Effective collaboration with individuals and teams at all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively manage stress associated with meeting deadlines and managing unexpected changes.
- Capable of interpreting a variety of multiple instructions.
- Working knowledge and ability to send and receive email using an email platform such as Microsoft Outlook.
- Detail oriented with an initiative-taking problem-solving mindset.
- Self-motivation and flexibility for a 24/7 operation, as needed.
