We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our high-performing finance team. In this role, you'll leverage the comprehensive accounting foundation you developed in public and/or industry accounting to support our strategic growth and operational excellence. Working closely with our Controller, you'll execute sophisticated accounting tasks, ensure US GAAP compliance, conduct technical research, and drive process improvements.
What You'll Do
Core Accounting Excellence
- Execute month-end close processes across multiple entities, bringing the precision and efficiency you sharpened in your previous experience
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation of deliverables and coordination with various functions
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules
- Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions and new and emerging accounting standards
- Maintain and update technical accounting memos and policies, ensuring our practices evolve with our rapid growth
- Partner with our engineering and product teams to implement scalable financial processes
- Identify and drive automation opportunities, leveraging technology to enhance accounting efficiency
- Build and continue to refine robust controls suitable for a high-growth company
- Support cross-functional projects that bridge finance and technology initiatives
- Stay current with both accounting standards and fintech innovations to guide best practices
- Provide analytical insights that inform product development and business strategy
- Participate in ad-hoc analyses that directly impact executive decision-making
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or technology or financial services companies
- Strong technical accounting skills with proven ability to research and apply complex standards
- Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Familiarity and experience with SOX compliance
- CPA certification (active or inactive) or equivalent public accounting firm or related experience—we value the comprehensive training and diverse exposure this background provides
- Experience with NetSuite, including NetSuite Account Reconciliation (NSAR) and other modern accounting technology stacks
- Track record of implementing process improvements and automation
- Self-motivated approach with commitment to high-quality results
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset balanced with strategic thinking

- Support career advancement
- Base Salary: $92,000 - $116,000 (based on experience and location)
- Bonus/Equity: Eligible for the corporate bonus program + early-stage equity
- Work Arrangement: 100% remote position within the United States
- Preferred Time Zones: PST, MST, or CST (must be able to accommodate West Coast business hours)
- Team Collaboration/Travel: Occasional in-person team meetings in California or Texas
- Reporting Structure: Direct report to Controller/SVP of Accounting
