Software Development

Hiring from: Canada
Seqera exists to advance science for everyone through software
We provide software for scientists solving today's most complex and important challenges from pioneering innovative therapeutics to unveiling the secrets of our universe. The journey began a decade ago with Nextflow — open software that helps over 100,000 global scientists analyze and process data, with more power and flexibility than ever before.
Today, Seqera consolidates fragmented data and diverse computing resources into a unified platform. Our modern biotech stack is trusted by over 150 leading life sciences organizations. Empowered with modern software engineering, organizations conduct science faster, on larger datasets, and with more confidence. Seqera accelerates discoveries in an open world.

About The Role
The Scientific Solutions Engineer is a technical member of the Pre-Sales team, supporting Seqera’s customer evaluations and sales engagements. This role is designed for an early-career professional with strong bioinformatics knowledge, technical curiosity, and enthusiasm for working with customers.
In this position, you will work closely with Account Executives and other technical team members to lead customer discovery, prepare and deliver Seqera Platform demos, and support proof-of-concept (POC) implementations. You’ll be expected to quickly develop the ability to independently deliver compelling demonstrations and guide customer engagements, while continuing to expand your expertise in Nextflow workflows and modern bioinformatics practices.
This role requires hands-on bioinformatics experience, a strong interest in working with customers, and the ability to clearly demonstrate the value of the Seqera Platform and Nextflow.
