Role Overview

  • Position: Stylists & Personal Shoppers – Independent Contractor, Remote
  • Commitment: ~20 hours/week, Duration: 5 weeks
  • Collaborate with a leading AI research lab to design and evaluate advanced shopping-assistant AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design realistic shopper profiles and high-quality prompts for product-recommendation tasks.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of AI systems using rigorous evaluation rubrics.
  • Create retail assets such as inventory scorecards and product-content libraries.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance model outputs and recommendations.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in celebrity or editorial styling, retail buying, merchandising, or e-commerce.
  • Expertise in trend spotting and brand benchmarking.
  • Proven ability to translate shopper needs into product recommendations.
  • Excellent written English and attention to detail.

Engagement Details

  • Hourly Rate: $35–$50/hr (USD), depending on experience
  • Lucrative bonus structure: Top performers can earn $5k+ in bonus payouts
  • Status: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
  • Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect
