Gartner
Full time
Business Management
Canada
Hiring from: Canada
About the role:
Gartner’s High-Tech Research Group advises technology companies on the strategic business issues that help make them successful in their market. In this group, the Technology Buying Dynamics team works with a variety of executive client roles to share insights on the evolving buying dynamics and the implications on product, marketing, and sales strategies.
If you're passionate about understanding executive decision makers—how they think, what motivates them, what bothers them, when they lead and when they delegate, and how AI impacts decisions---then this is the role for you.
Analysts within the group ensure that our executive clients receive the best strategic business advice, support, and direction for their decision-making. They are responsible for innovative research content, timely delivery cadence, collaboration within and across teams, and high impact interactions with clients and prospects.
Research will mainly be targeted toward analyzing data from a variety of sources to develop insights about the most important tech decision makers. You’ll seek ideas that challenge conventional wisdom, shape new engagement strategies, and challenge traditional product approaches.
Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations. A Senior Director serves as a leader within Gartner’s Research and Advisory sector, establishing oneself as a credible voice at local, regional and global levels. Utilizing exceptional research and analytical skills, a Senior Director plays a significant role in producing pragmatic and provocative research which Gartner clients consume and apply to propel their business toward key objectives. They are a trusted source of advice for clients, reinforcing Gartner’s value every day by engaging them via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, sales support visits and Gartner conferences to discuss complex client challenges and offer appropriate recommendations.
