Principal Product Manager, Trilogy (Remote) - $200,000/year USD

Trilogy
Full time
Product Management
Canada
Hiring from: Canada
If you've been the driving force behind launching a software product from concept to reality, you understand that the journey doesn't end there. You're a trailblazer who thrives without a roadmap, diving deep into user insights, problem-solving, and domain mastery until the path becomes clear. You're not interested in managing backlogs or filling out specs. You crave the autonomy to own a meaningful goal and the freedom to pursue it with agility, clarity, and purpose.

At Trilogy, we're redefining the paradigm. Your mission isn't to "own the roadmap"; it's to achieve a tangible, measurable business result. Your focus is singular—a clear objective that should materialize when users engage with the product—and it's your task to bring it to life. By leveraging AI as a collaborative partner and gathering user feedback, you'll develop profound domain insights, translate them into actionable strategies for your team and AI, and guide the product through rapid, data-driven iterations to achieve the desired outcome.

Join a team that values impact over busywork and decision-making driven by user data, swift feedback, and sharp insights. If you're tired of the traditional PM role and want to revolutionize the field, we want you on board. We're creating the future of product management.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop BrainLifts: An evolving repository of expert insights that refines AI tools, informs decisions, and demonstrates your domain mastery.
  • Drive Product Iterations: Implement small, data-informed product improvements each week to guide the product towards a quantifiable result.
  • Master Domain Expertise: Gain a comprehensive, structured understanding of a specific domain, empowering the team to make informed decisions, generate precise outputs, and communicate with confidence.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Spending an entire month on a single feature; our goal is to release new features weekly.
  • Crafting lengthy PRDs, managing backlogs, or detailing every screen and edge case.
  • Developing technical solutions or designing software architecture.

Basic Requirements

Principal Product Manager key responsibilities

  • 4+ years of experience in a product leadership role within a product company, where you personally envisioned and shaped an entire software product, defined its roadmap, and enhanced it based on usage data or customer feedback. This should not be limited to a feature or module within a larger product, and should not involve internal development, outsourcing, or custom work for a single client.
  • Experience in managing software products for large enterprises, with an understanding of how these organizations select, purchase, and integrate software, distinct from consumer or SMB markets.
  • A passion for integrating AI into your daily workflow, whether for research, analysis, synthesis, or strategic planning.
