About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Discounts and Rewards platform, with a strong focus on user experience and Agile development practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and executing test cases, supporting production releases, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Discounts and Rewards platform, with a strong focus on user experience and Agile development practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and executing test cases, supporting production releases, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing in UAT and Production environments.
- Create and maintain Release Notes for each production release.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and external development vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provide clear and concise written documentation of test results and QA processes.
- Assist the Application Support team with incoming tickets from stakeholders when not actively engaged in testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices and user experience standards.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and Agile development methodologies.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors is an asset.
