Overview
The Title Specialist is responsible for directly supporting the title vendor business needs of the Consumer Direct Channel. Support includes ensuring each title vendor company consistently delivers expectations by assisting Processing, Closing, and Funding managers in day-to-day deliverables by the third-party title vendors.
This is a fully remote position that offers a competitive hourly pay of $24.04 to $26.44, plus a monthly bonus. You'll also receive our excellent benefits package, which includes medical coverage starting on day one and a company-matched 401(k).
Responsibilities
The Title Specialist is responsible for directly supporting the title vendor business needs of the Consumer Direct Channel. Support includes ensuring each title vendor company consistently delivers expectations by assisting Processing, Closing, and Funding managers in day-to-day deliverables by the third-party title vendors.

Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor the assigned title vendor pipeline for production.
- Manage assigned loan pipeline to ensure overall effectiveness of the vendor's ability to fully execute deliverables (CTC, scheduled closing, funding requirements) promptly.
- Manage pipeline for appropriate and timely follow-up of outstanding aged title items that could impact a Clear to close status or vesting.
- Proactively contact vendors to follow up on scheduled closings and/or respond to inquiries.
- Perform appropriate and timely follow-up of outstanding funding items to ensure timely disbursement of closing funds.
- Remediating and escalating unresolved outstanding issues.
- Collect and assess vendor performance in comparison to expectations/metrics.
- Contact vendors to address errors made during the closing process to ensure they are resolved quickly.
- Acts as the main point of contact for the title vendor requests.
- Responsible for vetting of Closing Agents that are not already approved on the Company Settlement Service Provider list.
- Maintain the accuracy of the title vendor business contact information in Encompass.
- Two to three years of loan closing/funding and title company settlement agent experience.
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in computer use and Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
