What We’re Looking For
In this position as Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing all revenue-generating activities. This strategic role will combine Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Customer Experience to drive business growth and profitability.
Please note, this position is a remote role, but does require candidates reside within reasonable proximity of a major airport hub to allow for travel. Candidates must also have a valid passport to be able to travel to Mexico and Canada to support business needs.

What You’ll Do (including, But Not Limited To)
- Assess the current business development department and make necessary changes.
- Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy.
- Identify market opportunities, define target markets and create plans to maximize revenue and market share.
- Overall management of the sales and marketing functions, including monitoring performance.
- Develop sales and marketing plans and set targets and objectives.
- Leading business development initiatives, seeking new partnerships, collaborations and opportunities for growth.
- Identify potential markets, evaluate expansion options and negotiate strategic alliances to drive business growth.
- Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, working closely with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Oversee pricing strategies, ensuring optimal pricing while analyzing market trends and conducting pricing research.
- Collaborate with various departments to align commercial objectives with overall business goals.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 15+ years sales experience required
- 10+ years management experience required, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Industry experience highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (or similar) or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
- Must reside within reasonable proximity of a major airport hub to allow for travel
- Ability to travel regularly to attend meetings and other required events (average 25%)
- Must have a valid passport for travel to both Mexico and Canada as needed
- Exceptional strategic planning and execution capabilities
- Proven track record of driving sales and marketing success and achieving business growth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of sales, marketing, business development, and customer service
- Ability to navigate complex commercial environments and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in commercial software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, marketing platforms, etc.); NetSuite experience highly preferred
