The Crown Is Yours

As Director, People Programs M&A, you'll lead end-to-end people integration for all M&A activity—from shaping strategy with senior leaders to executing seamless transitions for our teams. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with executive stakeholders and key partners across Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, IT, and all People Centers of Excellence, while also managing one direct report. With a focus on cultural alignment, leadership enablement, and change management, you'll ensure each deal delivers on its full potential through a values-driven, people-first integration approach.

What you’ll do as a Director, People Programs M&A

  • Lead end-to-end HR integration across the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, pre-close, Day 1, and post-close, driving strategy and execution in alignment with our values and goals.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive and senior leadership team members and cross-functional leads, shaping integration plans and enabling sound decision-making across workstreams.
  • Translate deal objectives into actionable HR strategies, covering org design, systems, talent, total rewards, benefits, and compliance.
  • Manage the cross-functional HR M&A workstream, ensuring coordination across COEs, timely delivery of milestones, and effective issue escalation using integration trackers, project plans, and risk logs.
  • Own critical integration deliverables such as Day 1 readiness decks, executive updates, leadership materials, employee communications, and system and data readiness in partnership with People Ops and Tech.
  • Partner across People functions such as HRBP, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Inclusion, Equity, & Belonging, and Analytics to unblock execution and supervise one HR M&A team member, providing guidance on priorities and deliverables.
  • Lead cultural alignment and change enablement, partnering with acquired leaders to reduce friction, build trust, and establish shared ways of working before and after close.
  • Coach and develop a direct report, while continuously improving our HR M&A integration playbook and internal capability for repeatable, scalable execution.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in HR M&A integration and strategy, consulting roles, preferably in a high-growth, global tech or gaming organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people integration for multiple complex acquisitions, ideally across geographies and various deal structures.
  • Strong command of cultural integration, leadership alignment, and change management principles, with examples of successful application during M&A.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and high-stakes environments with sound judgment and proactive risk management.
  • Hands-on execution mindset, with the ability to draft presentations, manage trackers, and dive into details to keep initiatives moving.
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence to influence senior leaders and build trust across teams.
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCM, Google Suite, and Slack; familiarity with project management tools.
  • High integrity and discretion in managing confidential information, with a proactive approach to managing risk and ensuring compliance.
