INTRODUCTION:

The Technical Program Manager will manage key programs relating to ABC products, being responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects to ensure they are completed successfully. Oversee all aspects of planning and delivery, utilizing Agile methodology, from epics and user stories, project increment planning, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, vendor management, risk and issue management, and monitoring, summarizing, and communicating progress to various levels of stakeholders. Provides leadership and direction to formal and informal project resources and defines and implements standardized processes that conform to Agile and project management best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Manage large, complex initiatives with high internal visibility
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors from ideation to delivery ensuring successful project delivery
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and product objectives are met
• Create delivery plans, lead efforts around requirements gathering and analysis, identification of dependencies, issue and risk management and change request management
• Manage stakeholder and the project team expectations and communication flow as they relate to scope, project deliverables, and responsibilities
• Effectively lead and motivate project teams through the tasks of developing and executing project objectives
• Act as a change agent to improve overall processes; support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines, and processes
• Create, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project documentation
  
  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Ability to manage customer facing, Agile projects
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or CSM certification
• Thorough working knowledge of SDLC models/methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
• 10+ years project delivery experience preferred, with primary focus on delivering in an agile environment
• Demonstrated experience working with agile development teams and leading Agile project delivery
• Experience managing large cross functional programs impacting external customer facing products
  
  

AND IT’S GREAT OT HAVE:

• Experience managing onshore, offshore, internal, and external vendor resources
• Passionate problem solver who is a change agent and equally focused on both delivery and team culture
• Strong attention to detail in addition to clearly communicating the big picture
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in information systems or a related field
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high efficiency
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams of professional and technical personnel

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in USA and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for USA based candidates for this position is $144,000 -- $155,000.00 USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for Canada based candidates for this position is $130,000.00 -- $150,000.00 CAD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
