The Director of Subscription Growth is responsible for leading the overall strategy and operation of the Subscription/eCommerce Business Unit. The Subscription/eCommerce Business Unit will include sales to all Individual Customers, Small and Medium Group Practices, Rural Health Providers, Physician Associations and Sales to and through Channel Partners and Strategic Accounts.
This is an incredible opportunity for a driven, goal-oriented salesperson to take full ownership of a dynamic business unit and work cross-functionally across teams. Requirements
Essential Functions:
- Owns the Subscription/eCommerce strategy and execution including P&L responsibilities for the business unit.
- Provides accurate forecasting of Subscription/eCommerce initiatives to Senior Leadership.
- Develops and manages projects to drive on-line revenue growth and profitability.
- Understand and analyze the market, competition and customers in order to develop strategies to meet revenue goals and metric objectives.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that expand market reach.
- Design and execute sales programs targeted at small groups (e.g., clinics, practices, employer groups, associations).
- Foster long-term partner relationships to drive recurring revenue and upsell opportunities.
- Drive new customer acquisition, retention, and upsell strategies across digital channels.
- Collaborate with marketing to deliver campaigns that resonate with both individual and group buyers.
- Manage pricing, promotions, and sales packages tailored to small group needs.
- Oversight of channel partner programs including development of qualified pipeline and tracking the sales process, contacts, relevant opportunities in the VisualDx CRM system.
- Presenting: Effectively present a business-driven proposal as needed to convince the business level, user level and financial level decision makers why they should partner with VisualDx.
- Ability to understand customer business needs to align to product solutions.
- Close sales timely to meet quarterly individual and team business objectives.
- Follows the VisualDx Sales Process including, when applicable, handoff process to Client Success team.
- Develop and manage customer acquisition and retention programs.
- Work with VP of Engineering & VP of Product, as well as related cross-functional roles to continually optimize subscription/eCommerce experience.
- Set and track KPIs for group sales, partnerships, and overall subscription/eCommerce performance.
- Analyze data and sales trends to inform strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Report on pipeline health, partnership impact, and revenue performance.
- Set up systems and processes to track activity and results against goals.
- Drives best practices for subscription/eCommerce opportunities, processes and tools through continuous learning, keeping abreast of subscription/eCommerce trends and innovation.
- Works with Director of Sales Operations and Marketing Director to develop reporting and analyses of subscription/eCommerce campaigns and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. 10+ years of solution focused, relationship building or sales experience in the healthcare industry.
- Proven success selling to small businesses and digital SaaS sales.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, SaaS, and eCommerce platforms.
- Ability to influence others in relation to product knowledge, product benefits and customer needs and service.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to scale revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical thinker who can translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Ability to adapt communication and/or selling style to suit audiences’ needs.
- Ability to learn, comprehend and translate complex medical information and technology.
- Ability to develop strong, customer-focused relationships with appropriate members of the medical community.
- Self-motivated, driven to succeed, a self-starter.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, acts ethically and in support of corporate culture at all times when representing the Company.
- Embraces ownership for own successes and failures and takes responsibility for personal goals and outcomes.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers and reach with hands and arms.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Able to travel as needed.
