The Human Resources Administrative Assistant (HR/Admin Assistant) supports management-level staff and performs a variety of tasks. Typical office duties include collecting and organizing employee data, preparing reports, and providing clerical assistance including reviewing and approving Timesheets; Data entry; Payroll Assistance; HR Related Duties; and other duties as assigned by management-level staff. The HR/Admin Assistant reports to the HR/Admin Director and/or Chief Operations Officer.

HR Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for HR executives.
- Supports the Human Resources Department by posting open positions and screening applicants.
- Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar activities.
- Create reports for senior management.
- Prepares payroll by:
Verifying shifts worked match the scheduled shifts on the Officer Schedule.
- Provides orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
- Maintains HR records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
- Documents and tracks HR actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Sets up and schedules meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and Executive Staff.
- Stays up to date on Human Resources related laws.
