Location: Home based with delivery of sessions across different locations in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight Contract: Zero Hours Salary: £12.60 per hour Hours: Minimum of 1 Saturday a month
The Sessional Youth Worker will support young people engaged within Groundwork South’s Fusion youth work project in Hampshire and Isle of wight. You will actively work with the Fusion Project Manager and support the Senior Youth Worker to deliver effective and relevant support in order to enable young people to develop both socially and engage with each other through activities within the region.
You will support the delivery of various activities and events across the region up to 2 Saturdays a month in Hampshire and 1 Saturday a month on the Isle of Wight. The delivery of these activities will be shared across the team, but you will be expected to support the delivery of at least one of these sessions in a month. You must have the ability to travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
This role would be ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting adopted young people achieve their individual potential and creating opportunities, so they are able to enhance their life skills and make positive life choices.
