Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Corporate Travel Manager to lead Pratt Industries’ travel program. This role is responsible for developing and executing travel strategies, managing vendor partnerships, administering SAP Concur, and ensuring seamless travel experiences for our employees. The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of corporate travel operations with strong vendor negotiation skills, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to traveler satisfaction and compliance.


Key Responsibilities


Program Oversight

  • Own and continuously enhance Pratt Industries’ corporate travel and expense program, aligning with Finance, HR, and Legal.
  • Manage travel vendors (airlines, hotels, rental cars, TMCs) to negotiate favorable rates and service agreements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or executive-level travel issues,
  • Oversee the planning, booking and management of travel arrangements including flights, accommodations and other transportation.


Policy & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain global travel policies, ensuring cost efficiency, duty of care, and sustainability.
  • Provide training and communications to educate employees on travel systems, policies, and best practices.
  • Conduct audits of expense reports and travel transactions for accuracy and policy adherence.


Traveler Experience

  • Champion a high-touch, customer-first travel experience, particularly for senior leaders and executive staff.
  • Provide guidance and support for travelers with complex or international itineraries.


Systems & Reporting

  • Support the SAP Concur tool for travel booking, including workflows and user support.
  • Monitor travel data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Generate regular reports for Finance and leadership on T&E spend, compliance, and vendor performance.
  • Full knowledge of GDS Sabre system.


Risk Management & Sustainability

  • Monitor travel advisories and coordinate emergency response for traveler safety.
  • Support Pratt’s sustainability goals by identifying opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of corporate travel.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 5+ years of corporate travel management experience, including vendor negotiations and policy administration.
  • Knowledge of SAP Concur Travel.
  • Strong user knowledge of Sabre GDS system.
  • Proven ability to manage complex travel programs with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service orientation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or aviation-related travel management.
  • Familiarity with duty-of-care platforms and global travel requirements (visas, passports, health regulations).
  • Demonstrated success managing executive-level travel programs.
  • Experience with arranging group travel.
